Ryan Weber

Ryan Weber is a Managing Partner at Great North Labs, an early stage venture fund that primarily invests in technology startups across any industry that are based, or have meaningful operations, in Minnesota and the upper Midwest. Great North Labs has assembled a team experienced in scaling technology startups across a variety of industries, along with individuals with strong expertise in exponential technologies, to enable regional startups to achieve rapid growth and global reach. Previously, Ryan co-founded and served as Chief Product Officer of NativeX (formerly named W3i/Freeze.com) a digital media company that he scaled to $70M in revenue, 170 employees, and offices in Silicon Valley and Minnesota with his twin brother, Rob Weber.
Ryan holds a B.S. in Computer Science from St. Cloud State University. A graduate of Singularity University's Executive Program, Ryan also is currently co-ambassador for the SingularityU Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter. Ryan and Rob began investing in area startups through their angel fund, 32 Degrees. From 2006 to 2011, their investments in regional startups including eBureau, Zencoder, and FieldNation generated more than a 5x return.
